Agriturismo Val is the choice for an Italian vacation

For a travel lover like me, the Covid emergency screwed my plans. We are well aware, however, that those who lost the most is the tourism sector, including restaurants, hotels and holiday farms such as “agriturismi”. The long standstill, the anti-Covid measures taken with the reopening and the reduction of family expenses are making our beautiful country suffer. That’s why my summer will be 100% Italian, a bit like Sammontana ice cream. Either weekends by the sea, at the mountains and in cities, one of the first choices I made was the agriturismo, to be able to soak the calm of nature.

For my stay I chose Agriturismo Val, which offers its guests a family-run Bed&Breakfast service in Costermano sul Garda, in the hamlet of Castion Veronese, in the hinterland of Lake Garda. The structure rests among numerous vineyards, olive groves and promises breathtaking views of the lake. The location of the farmhouse offers the possibility to enjoy a relaxed holiday in a family atmosphere and to enjoy good Italian food. In fact the family also has apple, apricot and peach orchards, vegetable gardens and a fantastic production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, all products with which they make delicious breakfast cakes.

Agriturismo Val has two elegant double rooms, a triple room, a family room and a fully furnished apartment. Each room is equipped with private bathroom, television and air conditioning and Wi-Fi network. No less important are the swimming pool and sunbeds to enjoy nature and the sun in complete relax.

I have chosen the long history of this family because safety and professionalism are their pillars, by which they are able to welcome customers and make them live their holiday in the most relaxed and serene way possible. The rooms and common areas are, therefore, cleaned daily, sanitized with ozone and disinfected before and after each check-in and check-out. In addition, the staff is always at the disposal of its customers, in order to ensure a perfect holiday.

The noble coat of arms of the Pellegrini family, in various rooms of the agriturismo, recalls the important history that this family has brought to the town of Castion, but more generally to the city of Verona (there is a dedicated chapel in the Church of Sant’Anastasia in Verona). A real noble reality that still echoes today in the original rooms that now give life to the agriturismo, surrounded by many other properties of the family itself, such as Villa Pellegrini-Cipolla which is located in the main square of the village.

Finally, the agriturismo is an excellent starting point for walks and sports activities. Near by there is a sports centre for golf, several mtb courses, a riding school, natural climbing walls, Lake Garda for sailing, windsurfing, kite and wakeboarding and Monte Baldo with its new panoramic cableway. For those who, instead, want to spend a day of fun, by car or bus from Garda, it is possible to reach the parks: Gardaland, Canevaworld and Movieland. During the summer, the romantic and magical Verona opens the opera season in the splendid Arena, which can be reached by the A22 Brennero motorway in just 30 minutes.

Agriturismo Val is on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/agriturismoval/ and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/agriturismoval/. What are you waiting for? Don’t you have a sudden desire for a trip out of town? I’d leave now!
