School of WRAD needs you!
In this last year I have become a courses addicted. With lockdown, and a lot of time on my hands, I have discovered some platforms that offer courses I talked about in this article.
Why do I like them? They are functional and you can do them anywhere. Now that I’m a graduate and don’t want to continue my studies, to better learn the expertise to apply in the field I would like to work in, they are the cheapest and easiest alternative! That is why, I want to tell you about this platform that wants to be born and will do it with your help.
School of WRAD is WRAD’s new independent educational platform. What does it offer? Inclusive courses, as they are available from now on in Italian, English and Farsi, and it is independent, as the project is not funded by any group and/or company with any purpose other than to define the road to real sustainable development.
It is divided into 3 main courses: Better Design; Better Communication; Better Management, which deal respectively with all phases of the production chain of the fashion industry from design to sale and end of use. The aim is to provide the tools to approach the various roles within the industry with a responsible mindset, which considers the social and natural capital and the impact of the industry among the priorities. These courses will enable students or professionals to catalyze change from where they are today, whether they are merchandising managers or project leaders, and you can choose any you want!
Every investment in this project, through the crowdfunding campaign and future sales of the courses, will give free access to educational materials to a person on the other side of the world. From Bangladesh to India to Peru, we are creating synergies with local institutions to allow them to study and train as well, as they represent the largest amount of labor behind the fashion industry and are continually being neglected.
